I am a so-called Baby Boomer, born in the 1950s, and grew up in the 1960s and 1970s. After serving in the US Navy, I had a long and diversified career in Information Technology. Throughout it all, I developed my passion for writing, using new experiences and situations as the building blocks of my storylines, which I continue to do. 

My mother was born in Scotland, so I have always had a strong affinity for that region. Having visited there many times, I got to know the people, their backgrounds, and their history. I first learned about Annie Murray while reading about Scotland’s involvement in the Spanish Civil War, and thought it would be intriguing to tell her story.
